## How matching works

Requests are matched to a senior suited to the type of work. You do not need to browse profiles or run interviews before a request can begin.

## When the service changes

A meaningful service-category change can make a different match more useful. The workspace can rematch the request when that option is available.

## Your design manager

The design manager holds the broader workspace context, helps keep briefs useful, and checks that the work connects across requests.

## What customers see

The request shows the matched designer's public identity rather than internal staffing controls. Agency-side assignment and rematching tools stay separate from the customer view. The design manager provides continuity when more than one specialist contributes across the workspace.

## Help the match succeed

- Choose the closest service category
- Explain the outcome and intended audience in the brief
- Attach examples that show the standard, not only the style
- Flag specialist constraints such as motion, product flows, accessibility, or production format
- Update the service when the request genuinely changes discipline

## FAQ

### Why did the matched designer change?

A service change can make another specialist a better fit. The design manager keeps the workspace context across that change.

### What is the difference between a designer and a design manager?

The matched designer is the specialist working on the request. The design manager protects quality, continuity, and workspace context across requests or a change in specialist.

### What should I do if the match looks wrong?

Check that the request uses the right service and explains the outcome and constraints. Add the missing context, then raise the concern in the request or with Support so the team can review the match.
