Create a request

Turn an idea into a clear piece of work with a brief, service, priority, and date.

Inside PIWOT℗
PIWOT℗ new request form with title, brief, service, priority, date, and attachments

A request starts with the outcome, then adds the brief, source material, priority, and target date.

01

Create the request

  1. 01Select New request from the board.
  2. 02Write a short title that names the outcome.
  3. 03Choose the service that best matches the work.
  4. 04Add the brief, files, references, priority, and target date.
  5. 05Create the request. It starts in Backlog unless you move it into an available Active lane.
02

Use the brief as the working source

The brief can include formatted text, mentions, links, and request references. Update it when requirements change so the current direction does not get buried in comments.

03

Prepare before opening the form

  • One outcome that can be reviewed on its own
  • The audience, channel, and business reason
  • Source copy, files, links, and existing examples
  • Constraints such as format, accessibility, legal copy, or launch timing
  • A clear person or group who can approve the result
04

What happens after creation

A new request normally lands in Backlog. Move it to Active when you want work to begin and capacity is available. The request becomes the working record for the brief, files, comments, target date, people, and delivery.

05

Choose service and priority carefully

The service helps PIWOT℗ understand the kind of craft required and supports designer matching. Priority communicates relative attention inside your workspace, but it does not create another Active lane or replace a realistic target date.
