Upgrades, trials, and access states

Know what changes after an upgrade, conversion, pause, cancellation, or missing workspace state.

Plan status, capacity, and account role combine to determine which actions are available.

01

Add Active capacity

Billing shows the included capacity and any added Active Requests. Review the recurring amount, applicable date, and service coverage before confirming an addition.

02

Move to a larger plan

A larger plan can change capacity, service coverage, review cadence, or support. The confirmation screen is the source of truth for what changes and when the new terms take effect.

03

Understand the access gate

  • Active subscription: the board and workspace actions are available for your role
  • Paused subscription: the board remains visible but request changes are blocked
  • Canceled or missing workspace: Billing or resubscription may be required before the board opens
  • Non-admin member: request work may remain available while billing controls stay read-only
04

Read the effective state, not only the plan name

An active, paused, canceled, trial, or incomplete workspace can expose different actions even when the plan label looks familiar. The Billing confirmation and access message explain whether the board is editable now, scheduled to change later, or waiting for payment or account setup.

05

Before asking Support

  • Confirm the workspace and signed-in account
  • Check whether you are an Admin
  • Note the plan or access message shown on screen
  • Record the effective or renewal date
  • Include the order or invoice reference without sharing payment credentials
