01

What creates a notification

  • A direct mention in a request or comment
  • Relevant request activity and replies
  • Workspace events that need an admin decision
02

Manage notification preferences

Open Settings, then Notifications, to control the channels available to your account. Mark items as read from the notification menu after you have handled them.

03

Notification controls are personal

Each teammate controls the delivery choices available to their role. In-app notifications keep activity near the board. Slack can carry selected request and support updates to connected channels. Email is used for important account, billing, invitation, and action-required messages where available.

04

Action-needed notifications

  • Needs your input when a request is waiting on the customer team
  • Direct mentions when a person was named in a comment
  • Support replies when PIWOT℗ Support answered a conversation
  • Brand kit reminders when required context is still incomplete
05

Progress and collaboration notifications

  • Work started when a request moves to Active
  • Request finished when a request moves to Done
  • New files added to a request
  • New comments, replies, joins, and reactions according to the controls available to you
06

Reduce noise without missing decisions

Keep Needs Input, direct mentions, request completion, and support replies before muting broader activity. Change one notification type at a time and check that the remaining route still reaches the person expected to act. Admins also see team and billing controls that other roles do not.
